Second Quarter SLEF Meeting
We are honored to to host Ms Jennifer Akin of Blue Star Families! She will discuss a really significant BSF’s comprehensive data base project - Do Your Part . The Do Your Part Program is designed to help not only military families navigate active duty support programs in all 54 states and territories, but to assist state legislative and executive staff in developing their own programs. Jennifer needs YOUR help in spreading the word. Please try to attend!

Due to the government shut down our planned DSLO brief is postponed until our January meeting. However we have a great program planned for this session - we are putting a spotlight on Massachusetts (recent legislation and their unique state level veteran support program AND California where recent retiree tax relief legislation just passed. Please attend!
