The Do Your Part Program is designed to help not only military families navigate active duty support programs in all 54 states and territories, but to assist state legislative and executive staff in developing their own programs. We are excited to have the Veteran Administration’s Dr. Larry Pruitt lead the MOAA SLEF’s inaugural “Bonus” session. From time to time the SLEF will bring in speakers for relevant and useful discussion in between our regular quarterly sessions.

The session will be 13 April at 8PM EDT.

This session will be the first of a series geared towards Veteran suicide prevention. Dr. Pruitt will be talking in very broad terms about the VA’s recent findings, trends, promising new approaches and approaches with less efficacy. Subsequent sessions will focus on very promising approaches and how we, at the state level, should think about state level suicide prevention programs. Mark your calendar!
